FAQ

What is CBD?

CBD stands for Cannabidiol and it is one of many different cannabinoids found in cannabis. Cannabinoids are the primary compounds originating in all hemp and marijuana plants. The two most commonly referred to are CBD, which is non-psychoactive and THC, which is the only known psychoactive cannabinoid. THC is the compound in marijuana that is famous for getting users “high”. Our CBD oil is sourced from hemp and even though contains trace amounts of THC, it is non psychoactive, meaning it will not get you “high”. Public interest in CBD and hemp products has increased over the years as the latest research shows that CBD can provide wellness elements when taken daily.

What is the “Entourage Effect”?

The experience referred to as the “entourage effect” occurs when hundreds of natural compounds in a plant cooperate together with the body to produce stronger benefits than if any of the compounds were used alone. Our full spectrum hemp oil extracts contain CBD and many other beneficial terpenes and plant compounds. These compounds working together synergistically has been proven to increase the therapeutic benefits of each of the individual components as opposed to isolated CBD.

Will CBD help with my illness or condition?

At this time we are not able to make any claims as to whether or not our CBD hemp extract oil products will help you and your family with specific conditions or ailments. The current federal regulations prevent us from making such assertions at this time. There are widely available resources online that can further assist you in making a more informed decision as to whether or not our CBD products may be able to help with your condition. We encourage everyone to do their own research to further educate themselves about any products that they may give themselves and their families.

What is Full Spectrum?

We believe that the most therapeutic value is derived from CBD hemp extract oil products that are made from 100% organically grown, full spectrum, full flower, whole plant extracts. Full Spectrum CBD Oils include CBD and an assortment of cannabinoids like CBG and CBN along with beneficial terpenes that all work together synergistically to provide enhanced therapeutic value, as opposed to CBD isolate. CBD isolates are cheaper and have been around longer than full spectrum, but studies are now showing that Full Spectrum CBD Oil offers the most benefits for our health and wellbeing.

Where does our Hemp oil come from?

The hemp oil used in our products is cultivated using 100% organic farming methods and comes from family farms in the great state of Colorado.

What extraction method do we use in the production of our (CBD) hemp oils?

Our extraction method utilizes C02 so there is no heat to degrade the product or solvents to pollute the final result. CO2 extraction helps retain the full spectrum of cannabinoids as well as terpenes, essential oils, vitamins, and trace minerals which when combined, are proven to provide the most therapeutic value.  We use Full Flower, Whole Plant, Organic, Non-GMO cannabinoid rich ingredients to create our full spectrum products.

Is there a difference between CBD Oil and Hemp Oil?

CBD Oil and Hemp Oil both come from the hemp plant but the primary difference is where the hemp oil itself is derived from. Hemp Oil is derived from the seeds of the hemp plant only. CBD Oil is derived from the whole plant using the stems, leaves or flowers of industrial hemp plants.

Will I fail a Drug Test?

Most drug tests do not test for CBD, specifically known as cannabidiol. Typical drug tests are not generally looking for CBD or other cannabinoids. They are looking for the cannabinoid THC, which is the primary compound in marijuana that is psychoactive and gets the user “high”.  Even though our CBD Oil is non psychoactive and will not get you “high”, it does contain legal, trace amounts of THC. For this reason, we are not able to guarantee that you will pass a drug test if you are using CBD Oil.

What are the Side Effects of CBD Oil?

  • Drowsiness at higher doses
  • Interactions with blood thinners or certain medications (Contact your physician before using)
  • Upset stomach

How long does it take for CBD Oil to begin working?

It may take a couple of weeks to notice any benefits but some people report seeing noticeable effects almost immediately. How long it may take for someone to achieve benefits will depend on the weight of the individual and their unique body make up.
